Resell AutoBot — eBay
simple tutorial

What it does: Gets AutoBot ready on your Windows PC.

1. Download and run the Resell AutoBot installer.
2. Open AutoBot and paste the licence key from your purchase email.
3. Your access time starts when the licence is first activated.
4. Choose the marketplace you want from the Marketplace Home screen.

From Marketplace Home choose eBay. Vinted and eBay have separate searches, deal history, alerts and AI queues, so changing one marketplace does not overwrite the other.

What it does: Sends new-deal and AI follow-up alerts to your Discord channel.

1. Create or choose a Discord server and text channel.
2. Open Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks.
3. Create a webhook for the alerts channel and copy its URL.
4. In AutoBot open Connections → Discord, paste the webhook, enable alerts and send a test.

What it does: Local AI checks listing photos and descriptions for condition, damage, completeness and resale potential.

1. Open Connections and then the Local AI settings.
2. For most users, leave automatic hardware-adaptive AI enabled.
3. Fast is best for quick deal screening. Balanced gives more detail. Deep is slower and should only be used when you really need it.
4. If AI is taking too long, use Skip current AI. Scanning continues and AutoBot moves to the next queued item.

What it does: Tells Resell AutoBot — eBay what products you want to source.

1. Open Searches → Add eBay search.
2. Enter the search terms. You can search almost any normal eBay product category.
3. Optionally add a category hint.
4. Set your price/postage limits.
5. Choose Buy It Now, Auction, or both.
6. Choose the eBay conditions you accept and whether you only want UK listings.
7. Save and enable the search.

If you deliberately source broken stock, use a parts/not-working search. Otherwise explicit faulty/not-working listings are filtered before automatic AI.

What it does: Looks more broadly for potentially underpriced eBay items instead of relying only on a narrow saved search.

Turn it on from Searches when you want broader sourcing. Candidates still go through AutoBot's current-market checks before they are treated as opportunities.

What it does: Repeats your eBay searches and feeds the strongest opportunities to the independent eBay AI worker.

• Start eBay monitoring: starts scanning.
• Stop: stops eBay scanning only.
• Scan interval: controls the gap between cycles.
• AI Queue: shows waiting automatic AI jobs.
• Current AI: shows the item being analysed.
• Skip current AI: cancels that eBay AI job and moves on.

The automatic queue is deliberately kept small so old weak deals do not block fresh opportunities.

What it does: Shows new eBay opportunities and the evidence AutoBot has collected.

• Open the original eBay listing before making a decision.
• Check listing type, total buy cost, condition, AI result and current-market estimate.
• For auctions, pay attention to the current time remaining, current bid and any safe-buying-headroom information shown.
• Use Watch or move the item into the pipeline when relevant.

What it does: Keeps opportunities organised after you find them.

Move an item through the stages that match what you are actually doing: Saved / Watching → Purchased → Preparing → Listed → Sold.

Use this page as your simple “where is this item now?” board.

What it does: Rechecks an exact listing after you decide it is worth following.

• Use Watch from a deal when you are interested but not ready to buy.
• AutoBot tracks meaningful price, resale, profit, grade, liquidity and availability changes.
• Stable/no-change refreshes are kept quiet so Discord is not flooded.
• Use Unwatch when you no longer care about the listing.

What it does: Records what you actually bought and later sold.

1. Add or confirm the purchase price.
2. Add cleaning, repair, postage, packaging or other real costs.
3. When the item sells, enter the final selling price and sale date.
4. AutoBot uses the finished outcome for your profit records and learning pages.

What it does: Shows real profit after the costs you record.

Use True Profit for completed or tracked resales rather than relying only on the early deal estimate. It shows realised profit, ROI, holding time and forecast accuracy.

What it does: Compares AutoBot's original forecast with what really happened.

You do not need to configure anything here. Complete your resale records and this page builds evidence showing where estimates were accurate or too optimistic/conservative.

What it does: Highlights stock that has been sitting too long.

Use it to find older unsold items, trapped capital and listings that may need a price change, better photos, cleaning, relisting or another action.

What it does: Tracks auctions you care about as they get closer to ending.

• See the current bid, bid count and live time remaining.
• See the latest resale/profit estimate and next scheduled refresh.
• AutoBot refreshes ending auctions more often as the end time approaches.
• Discord auction alerts include the current countdown.

AutoBot does not place bids automatically. You decide whether and how much to bid.

What it does: Shows what AutoBot is doing behind the scenes.

Use Activity when something looks wrong. You can see searches finishing, alerts being sent, AI starting/completing, market checks and error messages.

What it does: Holds the important setup and maintenance controls.

• Local AI: enable/disable AI and choose Fast/Balanced/Deep or automatic hardware settings.
• Discord: add/test your webhook and control alert delivery.
• Backups/data: use the available backup/restore controls before moving PCs or making major changes.
• Diagnostics: use connection/readiness checks when a browser, AI or alert service is not working.
