Resell AutoBot
simple tutorial
A plain-English guide to setting up Resell AutoBot and using every main workspace. Start at the top the first time; after that, jump straight to the section you need.
1. Install & activate
What it does: Gets AutoBot ready on your Windows PC.
- Download and run the Resell AutoBot installer.
- Open AutoBot and paste the licence key from your purchase email.
- Your access time starts when the licence is first activated.
- Choose the marketplace you want from the Marketplace Home screen.
2. First setup check
What it does: Checks that the parts AutoBot needs are ready.
- Run the setup assistant when AutoBot first opens, or open it again from the app if needed.
- Check that the browser/local data are ready.
- Enable Local AI if you want photo/condition analysis.
- Set up Discord if you want alerts on your phone.
If a check is red, fix that one item before monitoring. Your saved searches are not deleted by the setup check.
3. Discord alerts
What it does: Sends new-deal and AI follow-up alerts to your Discord channel.
- Create or choose a Discord server and text channel.
- Open Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks.
- Create a webhook for the alerts channel and copy its URL.
- In AutoBot open Connections → Discord, paste the webhook, enable alerts and send a test.
4. Local AI
What it does: Local AI checks listing photos and descriptions for condition, damage, completeness and resale potential.
- Open Connections and then the Local AI settings.
- For most users, leave automatic hardware-adaptive AI enabled.
- Fast is best for quick deal screening. Balanced gives more detail. Deep is slower and should only be used when you really need it.
- If AI is taking too long, use Skip current AI. Scanning continues and AutoBot moves to the next queued item.
5. Searches
What it does: Tells Resell AutoBot exactly what items you want.
- Open Searches and choose Add search.
- Choose the item/category and enter clear search terms such as Hoka Clifton 9.
- Add the sizes you buy, your minimum/maximum price and any colour preferences.
- Add exclusion words for things you do not want.
- Choose the condition options you accept and save the search.
You can edit, disable or remove a saved search later. Keep searches reasonably specific so alerts stay useful.
6. Overview & monitoring
What it does: Runs your Vinted saved searches repeatedly.
- Start monitoring: starts the scanner.
- Stop: stops new scanning. It does not delete your searches.
- Scan interval: controls how often another cycle begins.
- Parallel searches: controls how many saved searches are checked at the same time.
- AI Queue: shows how many strong candidates are waiting for local AI.
- Current AI: shows the listing currently being analysed.
- Skip current AI: cancels that AI job and moves to the next one.
New-listing alerts are sent before deeper AI finishes, so you can open the deal immediately.
7. Deals
What it does: Keeps the opportunities AutoBot has found.
- Open the original Vinted listing from the deal.
- Read the recommendation, condition/damage notes, market estimate and profit figures.
- Use Manual AI when you specifically want an item analysed.
- Use Watch when you want AutoBot to keep following the exact listing.
- If you buy it, move it into your resale/pipeline workflow.
8. Pipeline
What it does: Keeps opportunities organised after you find them.
Move an item through the stages that match what you are actually doing: Saved / Watching → Purchased → Preparing → Listed → Sold.
Use this page as your simple “where is this item now?” board.
9. Watchlist
What it does: Rechecks an exact listing after you decide it is worth following.
- Use Watch from a deal when you are interested but not ready to buy.
- AutoBot tracks meaningful price, resale, profit, grade, liquidity and availability changes.
- Stable/no-change refreshes are kept quiet so Discord is not flooded.
- Use Unwatch when you no longer care about the listing.
10. Resales
What it does: Records what you actually bought and later sold.
- Add or confirm the purchase price.
- Add cleaning, repair, postage, packaging or other real costs.
- When the item sells, enter the final selling price and sale date.
- AutoBot uses the finished outcome for your profit records and learning pages.
11. True Profit
What it does: Shows real profit after the costs you record.
Use True Profit for completed or tracked resales rather than relying only on the early deal estimate. It shows realised profit, ROI, holding time and forecast accuracy.
12. AI Learning
What it does: Compares AutoBot's original forecast with what really happened.
You do not need to configure anything here. Complete your resale records and this page builds evidence showing where estimates were accurate or too optimistic/conservative.
13. Inventory
What it does: Highlights stock that has been sitting too long.
Use it to find older unsold items, trapped capital and listings that may need a price change, better photos, cleaning, relisting or another action.
14. Listing Creator
What it does: Helps turn a purchased item into a simple resale listing.
- Select the item you want to resell.
- Review the suggested resale price and any cleaning/restoration guidance.
- Use the suggested title and description as a starting point.
- Edit anything that is not accurate before copying it into Vinted.
The customer-facing description is intentionally simple. AutoBot does not publish the listing for you.
15. Activity
What it does: Shows what AutoBot is doing behind the scenes.
Use Activity when something looks wrong. You can see searches finishing, alerts being sent, AI starting/completing, market checks and error messages.
16. Connections
What it does: Holds the important setup and maintenance controls.
- Local AI: enable/disable AI and choose Fast/Balanced/Deep or automatic hardware settings.
- Discord: add/test your webhook and control alert delivery.
- Backups/data: use the available backup/restore controls before moving PCs or making major changes.
- Diagnostics: use connection/readiness checks when a browser, AI or alert service is not working.
