Look for information gaps
Some listings are cheaper because the title is vague, the photos are poor or the seller has not highlighted the exact model. The opportunity exists only if you can identify the item safely.
Search alternative wording
Model abbreviations, common misspellings and generic descriptions can surface listings that stronger titles do not. Do not rely on this unless the identity can still be verified.
Separate cosmetic issues from functional risk
Dirt or presentation can sometimes be improved; unknown faults can erase the entire margin. Price the difference.
Check collection and postage economics
A bargain that requires expensive travel or oversized postage may not be a bargain after all.
Do not assume low competition means high demand
A listing can be cheap because few buyers want it. Check resale demand and likely time-to-sell as well as margin.
