Vinted AutoBot: simple step-by-step setup.

Install & activate

Goal: get the app open and activate the licence that was automatically emailed after purchase.

1. Open the purchase email from Resell AutoBot.
2. Use the download link in that email and install Resell AutoBot on Windows.
3. Open Resell AutoBot.
4. When the licence window appears, paste the licence key exactly as shown in the email.
5. Activate the licence. The purchased access period starts when the key is first activated on this PC.
6. At Marketplace Home choose Vinted.

Connect Discord webhook

Goal: make Vinted deal and AI results arrive in a private Discord channel.

A. Create the webhook in Discord

1. Open Discord on desktop or in the browser and select the server where you want the alerts.
2. Create a text channel such as #vinted-deals, or use an existing private channel.
3. Open Server Settings.
4. Open Integrations → Webhooks.
5. Select Create Webhook.
6. Choose the channel that should receive the alerts.
7. Select Copy Webhook URL.

B. Connect it inside Resell AutoBot

1. In Resell AutoBot choose Vinted.
2. Open Connections.
3. Under Discord notifications select Configure Discord.
4. Paste the webhook URL into Discord webhook URL.
5. Tick Enable Discord alerts for new matching Vinted listings.
6. Leave the blocking in-app pop-up option off unless you specifically want a pop-up window for every deal.
7. Select CONNECTION TEST. Confirm the test message arrives in Discord.
8. Select SEND SAMPLE DEAL. Confirm the sample looks correct.
9. Select SAVE SETTINGS.

Turn on Local AI

Goal: turn on the local AI and confirm it can analyse listings.

A. Install Ollama once

1. Install Ollama for Windows from the official Ollama website.
2. After installation, make sure Ollama is running in Windows.
3. Open PowerShell.
4. Download the exact model used by Resell AutoBot:

Wait until the model download completes. The model is large, so the first download can take time.

B. Turn AI on in Vinted

1. Open the Vinted workspace.
2. Open Connections.
3. Under Local AI screening select Configure local AI.
4. Tick Enable local AI analysis.
5. Tick Automatically choose safe AI quality for this PC (recommended).
6. Leave Inspect full-listing photos enabled if the adaptive setting selects it.
7. Do not change Advanced Settings until normal AI is working.
8. Select TEST LOCAL AI.
9. If the test succeeds, save the settings.

What Fast / Balanced / Deep mean

• Fast: up to 2 photos, one visual pass and consistency checks. Best when speed matters most.
• Balanced: up to 4 photos plus a compact verification pass. Recommended for automatic monitoring on suitable hardware.
• Deep: up to 6 photos and two visual passes. More evidence, but much slower and more demanding.

Turn on AI alerts / choose Discord mode

Goal: choose how Discord and AI work together.

Recommended for fastest alerts

1. Keep Only send AI analysis: OFF on the Overview page.
2. A matching explicit saved-search listing can be sent to Discord immediately.
3. AI runs in the background.
4. When AI/market analysis completes, the result can arrive as a follow-up.

If you only want the completed AI message

1. Make sure Local AI is enabled first.
2. On Overview select Only send AI analysis: OFF.
3. Confirm the warning to turn it ON.
4. AutoBot still shows the new match inside the app immediately, but Discord waits for AI.

Create a Vinted saved search

Goal: tell AutoBot exactly what Vinted listings you want.

1. Open Vinted → Searches.
2. Select Add footwear search, Add clothing search or Add general search.
3. Choose the correct Search section. For footwear/clothing, choose the department/sizing controls that match your buying strategy.
4. In Search Vinted for, enter the product wording, for example Nike Air Max 95.
5. Leave Require the search wording... on when the title should contain that wording or one of your alternatives.
6. Add Alternative accepted title phrases if sellers use several names for the same product.
7. Add Excluded title words or phrases for wrong-scope items you never want.
8. Tick the sizes you will buy. Tick Any to accept all sizes.
9. Select colours only if colour matters. Leave all colours unselected for any colour.
10. Set minimum and maximum purchase price.
11. Tick the Vinted conditions you accept.
12. Keep Enable this search ticked and select SAVE SEARCH.

Configure Vinted Smart Discovery

Goal: let AutoBot search broader Vinted feeds for profitable-looking footwear or clothing candidates.

1. Open Vinted → Searches.
2. In the Smart Discovery panel select Configure.
3. Tick Enable Smart Discovery.
4. Choose Footwear or Clothing.
5. Choose department/sizing and clothing type where relevant.
6. Select accepted sizes. Any—or no specific size—accepts all sizes.
7. Set Maximum buy price.
8. Set Minimum expected profit.
9. Select SAVE.

Start and control Vinted monitoring

1. Open Vinted → Overview.
2. Confirm at least one saved search or Smart Discovery is enabled.
3. Confirm Scanner/AI/Discord status is acceptable for the features you want.
4. Select Start monitoring.
5. Watch ACTIVE SEARCHES, DEALS TODAY, AI QUEUE and CURRENT AI.
6. If an AI job is taking too long, select Skip current AI. Scanning continues.
7. Select Stop when you want to end Vinted scanning. Your saved searches are not deleted.

Use the Vinted Deals page

1. Open Deals when a new opportunity appears.
2. Use Open listing to view the original Vinted listing before spending money.
3. Review total buy cost, AI condition/damage evidence, current-market estimate, expected profit/ROI and confidence.
4. Use Analyse with AI for a manual deeper request when available and the monitoring AI worker is running.
5. Use Market to inspect market/comparable evidence when available.
6. Use Watch when the exact listing is interesting but you are not ready to buy.
7. Use the resale/listing plan tool to generate restoration, pricing and listing-copy guidance from current evidence when available.

Pipeline, Watchlist, AI Learning & Inventory

Pipeline — track the stage of each opportunity

1. Open Vinted → EXTRA → Pipeline.
2. Use the search box or stage filter to find the item.
3. Set the stage that matches reality: Detected, AI analysed, Watching, Saved, Contacted, Bought, Cleaning / Repair, Ready to list, Listed or Sold.
4. Select REFRESH when you want the pipeline to resync with current deal and resale records.

Watchlist — keep following an exact listing

1. From a deal choose Watch.
2. Open Vinted → EXTRA → Watchlist.
3. Review price, resale, profit, ROI, grade, liquidity, availability and the next refresh.
4. Use the filter to show Vinted, improved, degraded or unavailable items.
5. Select OPEN LISTING to re-check the marketplace listing or UNWATCH when you are finished.

AI Learning — compare forecasts with completed outcomes

1. Record completed resale outcomes first.
2. Open Vinted → EXTRA → AI Learning.
3. Review completed outcomes, bias, average absolute error and the percentage within ±10%.
4. Use the level filter for Overall, Marketplace, Brand, Category or Model evidence.
5. Treat any correction factor as advisory only; version 4.4.4 does not automatically apply it.

Inventory — find stock that may need action

1. Open Vinted → EXTRA → Inventory.
2. Review stock that is ageing beyond its expected liquidity window.
3. Check current-market drift, trapped capital and the recommended intervention.
4. Decide yourself whether to reprice, improve photos, clean, relist or take another action.

Record Resales and True Profit

1. Open Resales after you buy an item.
2. Record the actual purchase price.
3. Add real cleaning, repair, packaging, postage and other costs you personally incurred.
4. When sold, enter the final selling price and sale date.
5. Open Profit to review realised net profit, ROI, holding time and forecast accuracy.

Activity, Connections, backups & updates

Activity — see what AutoBot is doing

1. Open Vinted → Activity.
2. Review scanner, browser, AI, market, alert and error messages.
3. If you need support, copy the exact error line into the Support form.

Deal history

1. Open Vinted → Connections.
2. Under Deal history choose Open deal history.
3. Review stored records. Reset alert history only when you deliberately want already-seen item IDs eligible again.

Recovery protection

1. Use Export data backup before major PC or app changes.
2. Use Restore data backup only when you intentionally want to restore a saved AutoBot data set.
3. Use Open data folder if support asks you to inspect local files.

Licence and updates

1. Use Verify licence to re-check the current key.
2. Use Change key only when you need to activate a different licence.
3. Choose Stable or Beta update channel as appropriate and use Check for updates when you want to check manually.

System readiness

1. Review detected hardware and local-service status.
2. If Local AI is not ready, return to Step 3 and test Ollama/model readiness again.

Simple troubleshooting

• Setup is blocked or will not start: open Windows Security → App & browser control. If Smart App Control or reputation-based app checking is blocking the official Resell AutoBot installer, temporarily disable that app-control setting and retry Setup. Keep Microsoft Defender Antivirus / Virus & threat protection and Real-time protection ON. Re-enable App & browser protection after installation where available.
• No Discord message: Connections → Configure Discord → Connection Test. If the test fails, create/copy a fresh webhook URL.
• AI says not ready: start Ollama, confirm the required model was pulled, then Test Local AI.
• No new deals: confirm the search is enabled, monitoring is running and your filters are not too restrictive.
• Previously seen listing will not alert again: duplicate protection is deliberate. Reset alert history only if you intentionally want current matches treated as new.
• Need help: open Activity, copy the exact message, then use Support.
